January 31 - February 2, 2025
Middle schoolers, don’t miss this incredible weekend! We’ll join many middle schoolers from several area churches for our Winter Camp in Challenge, CA, for an action-packed few days. We’ll enjoy a live band, dynamic speakers, and meaningful conversations in heated mountain cabins to result in friendships and life-changing growth in your faith.
The Theme
This winter, we invite you to explore the promise of Ezekiel 36:26—“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
In the stillness of winter, God offers to renew our hearts and refresh our spirits. This camp will focus on how God's love transforms us, turning hearts hardened by life’s challenges into hearts open to Him and others.
Through worship, teaching, and group activities, we’ll explore what it means to let God replace our "hearts of stone" with hearts that are responsive to His Spirit. Topics will include forgiveness, renewal, and cultivating a heart sensitive to God's direction.
The Camp
Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, nestled next to the Plumas National Forest, the historic town of Woodleaf had its start as a stagecoach and hotel stop during the California gold rush in the mid 1800s.
Owned and operated by Young Life since 1966, it is now an exciting summer camp and retreat center. You will find great service, fun activities, and excellent facilities here among the tall trees of Northern California at Young Life’s Woodleaf!
